Create an Accent Wall. Most Modern home design used subtle colors for their exterior finish to give the façade a modernistic appeal. Simple color combination creates a crisp, classy and grand look to a modern design house.
But on the inside, you may want to try bolder colors for accent walls in the different areas of the house. You can paint a portion of the wall in your dining area in amber red paint, or in cobalt blue paint to create an intimate space. Or try to paint your bedroom in the head board area and make it the focal point of the master’s bedroom. Accent wall gives additional architectural detail to a room.
